[NEWS] 111028 Kim Junsu (Xiah Junsu) Starring In 3rd Musical

Kim Junsu (Xiah Junsu), member of the idol group JYJ, will be starring in his third musical.

Kim Junsu, who left a deep impression with his singing and acting abilities through the musicals [Mozart!] and [Tears of Heaven], has been casted as the character who personifies 'Death' in the first Korean musical production of [Elisabeth], which will take place next year. The role 'Death' plays is one which seduces and draws Elisabeth to her fate through a predestined love.

Having increased exceptional love and interest of the public towards the musical scene, there has been a triple casting as he will work with musical actors Ryu Jung Han and Song Chang Eui.

Ok Ju Hyeon, singer turned musical actress, and Kim Sun Young will play the role of 'Elisabeth'.

Also, playing the role of narrator 'Lucheni' in the musical are Kim Su Yong, Choi Min Chul and Park Eun Tae. Lee Seung Hyun will also be making his debut as a musical actor through the role of 'Rudolf', son of 'Elisabeth'. Taking on the role of 'Emperor Franz Joseph' are Yoon Young Seok and Min Young Ki, with Lee Tae Won playing the role of 'Sophie', mother-in-law of 'Elisabeth'.

The musical 'Elisabeth' was unveiled to the world for the first time in Vienna, Austria, in 1992, and depicts the life of the last Empress Elisabeth of the House of Hapsburg in Austria.

It will be performed for the first time in Korea next year, from 9 February to 13 May, at Blue Square, Hannam-dong.

[NEWS]111028 JYJ’s Junsu cast as ‘Death’ in the musical ‘Elisabeth’

JYJ‘s Junsu will be making a musical comeback alongside Ock Ju Hyun and Song Chang Ui through ‘Elisabeth‘.

Starting February 9th, Junsu will be playing the role of ‘Tod’ (‘Death’) for a total of three months until May 13th at Samsung Electronics Hall in Seoul.

Junsu’s character falls in love with Elisabeth, an empress who yearns for freedom. Since he represents ‘death’, his character firmly believes that the only person who can free his love from the misery she feels is to lead her to death.

Junsu has a history of selling out his past projects like ‘Mozart!’ and ‘Heaven’s Tears‘; additionally, he won the popularity award at the ‘5th Musical Awards‘. As such, officials are looking forward to seeing what achievements he’ll rake in this time around.

Kim Sun Young and Ock Ju Hyun have been double cast for ‘Elisabeth’. The rest of the cast includes Kim Soo Yong, Choi Min Chul, Park Eun Tae, Kim Seung Dae, and more.

JYJ’s Kim Jun Su made Park Yoo Chun and Kim Jae Joong, the other two members of the group, pout.

[NEWS]111027 JYJ’s Jae Joong proves himself to be close friends with Ji Sung

In the early morning of October 27, JYJ’s Jae Joong tweeted a photo with the comment: “What happened to us, Ji Sung, JJ and me? We’re surprisingly so close friends now.”

In the photo, Jae Joong is taking a friendly pose along with Jisung and JJ, putting arms around each other’s shoulders. They’ve developed friendship since they both appeared on Protect the Boss, the SBS’s popular drama series.

People who saw the photo left comments: “You became good friends thanks to the drama series. It’s nice to look at.” “Your eyes seem to almost fire laser beam.” “The popular cha-cha couple in the series must still be alive.”

JYJ, to which Jae Joong belongs, departed to Barcelona, Spainon October 24, to take a European concert tour.

[NEWS] 111027 MMA 2011 Top 30 Revealed... Where Is JYJ?

2011 Melon Music Awards (henceforth MMA) has released their Top 30 Singers list for online voting and queries have been raised as the list does not include the names of JYJ (Park Yoochun, Kim Junsu, Kim Jaejoong).

On the 27th, MMA released their Top 30 Singers list so that online voting for the 2011 Melon Music Awards can take place over the period of 27 October - 6 November.

Eye-catching names on the Top 30 list include Kim Bum Soo, Park Jung Hyun and Huh Gak from "I am A Singer" and "Superstar K". A considerable number of idol singers have been included on the list, including: TVXQ, Super Junior, 2PM, Miss A, 4Minute, Beast, Secret, Sistar and Girls' Day. However, JYJ have not been included.

JYJ released their first Korean album [In Heaven] back in September and based on offline album sales alone, have sold more than 300,000 copies, receiving a lot of love. However, they are not appearing on TV at all.

With their own interests at stake, JYJ's previous management company SM Entertainment had also shown disapproval against JYJ attending the award ceremonies. If JYJ were to attend and won an award, SM Entertainment, with whom they are in a legal dispute, could refuse to participate in the event. From the organizers' standpoint, the groups that have enjoyed huge popularity this year include f(x), TVXQ, Super Junior, as well as SNSD, who have just made their comeback. As such, they would have to bear the burden of possibly missing out on all these "big fish".

In regards to this, an official from MMA explained, "The Top 30 list was selected based on the following - domestic Melon streaming frequency (40%), number of downloads (50%), SKT wireless (MOD) utilization (10%)" and "from the accurate data collected, JYJ are outside the range of the Top 30".

[NEWS] 111026 JYJ Fans' Newspaper Ad For "TV Appearance Request"

Fans of JYJ (Park Yoochun, Kim Junsu, Kim Jaejoong) have published an advertisement in a daily newspaper, requesting for their TV appearances.

The fans explained the reason for publishing the advertisement and said, "JYJ have been blocked from making appearances on most entertainment and music programmes and even just this injustice alone is a good reason."

After withdrawing from SM Entertainment, JYJ are currently in a lawsuit with SM. Broadcasting companies are using this as a reason for their stance on not allowing JYJ on their programmes. However, JYJ's side claims that the broadcasting companies' unfair refusal to allow JYJ on programmes is due to SM's influence.

In fact, JYJ have not been able to make normal broadcast appearances on not only the 3 broadcasting companies, but even on cable music programmes as well.

On the other hand, JYJ filed to nullify their exclusive contracts with SM Entertainment based on "unfair contract clauses" and it is still ongoing. However, through two court injunctions that took place in October 2009 and February 2011, the courts guaranteed that before the final judgement for the lawsuit is made, the three members of JYJ are able to freely pursue their activities as entertainers without interference from SM.

Printed ticket or delivered to home one and DNI to check everyone’s age.

2. Ticket has another name on it because it was a gift/bought by a friend - what does it happens in this case?

You can get your ticket entry without any problems as long as the ticket will be valid.

3. Can someone exchange a ticket non attached to his/her name?

Yes.

4. Can someone exchange more than one ticket?

Yes.

5. Just people with e-ticket must exchange their ticket or people who received it at home too?

Everyone must exchange their tickets at the ticket office for the matching bracelet.

6. When you exchange a VIP or Super VIP ticket are you gonna get a numbered bracelet?

Yes, every bracelet it’s gonna have a matching number according to a seat.

7. People with a normal ticket (fosse) must also exchange their ticket?

Yes. Every type of tickets must be exchanged at the ticket office for the matching bracelet.

8. Are fosse’s tickets numbered?

No, fosse’s tickets aren’t numbered.

9. What is the ticket office’s schedule?

Ticket offices are gonna be open:

- Friday 28th of October, from 18:00h to 21:00h
