Part 2. Time Out Gelato

I grabbed a cab and asked him to go to Jungbalsan Station (and got laughed at because apparently it was walking distance. I made sure he gave me my exact change, no tip for you mister), hopped on the next train and headed to Apgujeong Station, where Time Out Gelato was.

It took me exactly 54 minutes, in which my person did not hesitate to text me five billion times asking me where I was, and I eventually ended up in front of Time Out.

opens at 11:00 am

I got in quickly, went through the transaction and started looking at flavors. Unfortunately, by the time I got there, (around 3:40) most of the flavors were all gone so I had to do with what they had, which was still pretty good.

A small cup gets you two flavors for 4,500 KRW so I bought Blueberry Yogurt and Tiramisu. It didn't look all that appetizing, the colors looked faded out, but I decided to give it a try.

See, the colors are pale :/

Boy was I wrong. It was pretty good gelato. The flavors were actually really good, better than what the colors of the gelato implied.

It was fun being in there because I could hear everyone spazzing and fangirling. Time Out stocked itself with the latest THSK magazines so Korean fans were drooling over those while the Japanese fans were more interested in the picture collages on the walls. The interior was pretty bright with yummy ice cream pictures as well as Chun plastered over the walls.

They sell Time Out Gelato badges for 6,500 KRW, a four-piece set of coasters for 8,000 KRW, two-piece set of Time Out mugs for 20,000 KRW and a Mickey Mouse shaped Time Out 4GB USB for 40,000 KRW (Yes, I did my homework. I remembered to write all these down wink.gif)

Yes I bought them but no I don't have them with me so don't ask me if you can secretly buy them off of me.

I enjoyed my gelato in peace and some Chinese fans asked if they could sit at my table because there were no other tables free. They spoke not a word of Korean, and I couldn't speak Chinese, but we exchanged smiles.

After disposing of the empty carton and spoon, ad delivering Chun's gift to the manager there, I decided it was time I headed down to the concert area.
