--♥ Withdrawal Of The Name DBSK ♥--



On May 19th SM Entertainment, the management company of DBSK, confirmed over the phone with Newsen that they have withdrew an application to
“enhance” the trademark for the group.

“It is a fact that we withdrew the trademark application for the name ‘DBSK’ late last year,” a representative of the company said, later adding,
“[We hereby also] announce that the enhanced document is also withdrawn.”

SME applied to the Patent Office in August 2009 to trademark the name “DBSK”, but later withdrew it at the end of the year. A big relief for some fans, but let’s not forget that they could one day reapply to enhance their trademark once again.

Note: This means that SM no longer owns
the name DBSK and is also no longer copyrighted.
Technically, the trio can continue with the name.
