- What do you think of the outfits that were used for today’s photo shoot?
It gives me the impression that it’s very fashionable and very modern; it incorporates all the important essentials and carries its own personality. It’s very different from the usual atmosphere, it feels almost like a challenge, but you enjoy wearing it. It probably showcases a new kind of beauty (laughs).
- What kind of clothing attracts you recently?
Since it’s now the chilly period, I’m more attracted to long coats and gloves. Actually I really like scarves, and would usually use the scarf as the focus of the winter outfit, but this year however, I want to put the focus on the gloves and hopefully create this manly feeling.
- What kind of song is your new track?
Compared to all the previous dance tracks which we have sung, this is fiercer with a stronger rhythm. There is more rap and shouting, but the tune itself is dense, so you can also treat it as a rock song. We’ve also tried challenges in the dance moves, with a type of distortion as the focus of the dance moves. It is definitely a must-watch and we hope to let everyone enjoy it as soon as possible.
- What kind of year do you wish for 2011 to be?
To us, last year was a turning point; personally, I’ve been involved in a musical and television drama et cetera, and I’ve trained and polished myself up in many other areas. I hope this year will be a busy year for Tohoshinki. When this year passes, I want to be able to say to myself, “I’ve gave my best.” We will work hard in our schedule and activities! We also wish to be able to meet up with all the Japanese fans soon.

I think the earlier period of one’s early teens till the 20s is the most beautiful and coolest period of one’s life. There may be a lot of frustrations and unease, but if there’s anything which you want to do, act on it and fulfill as many dreams as you can. I’m always trying to be like MJ (Michael Jackson), to be someone who carries a progressive mindset and attitude towards any oncoming challenges at any one point in time!
