[TRANS] 110223 “Maids” PD: Yoon Eun Hye-Park Yoochun “Starring Together? This Is A Baseless Rumour”

With regards to the reports of Yoon Eun Hye and Park Yoochun starring in the KBS2TV Wed-Thurs Drama “Maids,” the production team has expressed that “This is a baseless rumour.”

Director Hwang Ui Gyeong PD said, in a telephone interview with Star News on 23 February, that “This talk about Yoon Eun Hye and Park Yoochun being the main cast is unfounded.”

Hwang PD said, “ Although the combination of Yoon Eun Hye and Park Yoochun was considered for the roles during the discussions, it is impossible for this collaboration to happen.”

Both Yoon Eun Hye and Park Yoochun’s companies have also expressed that “this is baseless.” Officials from Yoon Eun Hye’s management company also said, “This is definitely false.” And officials from Park Yoochun’s management company said “There is no basis for this rumour.”

On another note, “Maids” will be aired on 11 May, after “The Thorn Birds.”
