Though he lacks in experience, we wondered if he had any close friends in the entertainment industry. It was a question thrown at him with little thought, but what came back was a big catch.
"I'm close friends with JYJ's Micky Yoochun and YoungWoong Jaejoong. I see them probably about two or three times a week. I was introduced to them by a younger actor and they're the most genuine friends you'll ever meet. Whenever I came out on 'Athena', they would monitor my acting and send me text messages as they were watching that said things like, 'Hyng, this scene was slightly lacking,' or 'Hyung, your dying scene was seriously amazing.' Yoohun even threw a party for me to commemorate my role in 'Athena' after it was over. He had taken time out of his life to do this for me because I wasn't invited to the actual closing party of the drama. Sometimes, I think that he is at a higher mental maturity than I am. (Laughs) I'm indebted to him. I'm going to work hard so that he is never embarrassed to call me a friend."
