Park Yoochun fell head over heels for Lee Da Hae the moment he saw her.
In MBC’s new Monday-Tuesday drama ‘Miss Ripley’, which aired its first episode on May 30th, Song Yoo Hyun(Yutaka/Park Yoochun) and Jang Miri(Lee Dae Hae)’s fateful first encounter takes place.
Lee Da Hae plays the role of Jang Miri, who falls into a fatal pit of despair with one lie. In the first episode, Jang Miri is shown to have been adopted to Japan after being deserted by her parents when she was young, only to escape back to Korea after working at a bar.
Park Yoochun plays the role of Song Yoo Hyun(Yutaka), the son of a famous Japanese resort empire’s CEO. In the first episode, he is seen living in a Gosiwon (T/N: area where many law students flock to study) environment, stating that he wants to have the complete Korean experience, despite the fact that he is a son of a conglomerate’s CEO.
The duo’s fateful encounter occurs when Song Yoo Hyun bumps into Jang Miri as he is leaving his room during a phone conversation with his mother Lee Hwa(Choi Myong Gil). Song Yoo Hyun falls in love with Jang Miri, whose cap falls off to expose her long and wavy hair.
Later on, Song Yoo Hyun sees Jang Miri at a supermarket and feels his heart beating faster, but is unable to approach her and strike up a conversation as she has yet to open her heart up to him.
