[TRANS] 110722 Kim Junsu’s Participation In OSTs, Why Not “Protect The Boss” But “Scent Of A Woman?”

Kim Junsu will be participating in the “Scent of a Woman” OST. In the early afternoon of 22 July, it was announced that Kim Junsu will be participating in the OST of SBS’s weekend special project “Scent of a Woman,” and he will also be playing the role of a popular singer with the same name in a guest appearance for the drama.

Kim Junsu had shown his support for Park Yoochun’s KBS drama “SungKyunKwan Scandal” and participated in its OST. However, this time he has not chosen to participate in Kim Jaejoong’s “Protect the Boss” OST but in “Scent of the Woman,” raising a considerable amount of attention.

To this, JYJ representatives said, “Both dramas are from the same production company, and we felt that Kim Junsu’s voice would match the loveline between Kim Sun Ah and Lee Dong Wook in “Scent of a Woman” better,” explaining the reason behind Kim Junsu’s participation.

Also, with regards to his guest appearance in the same drama, they also said, “The three members of JYJ are interested in trying out different activities in each field, but the activities of JYJ (as a group) is still the priority. Kim Junsu has always been interested in singing for drama OSTs, and often sings songs from OSTs, and is especially fond of “That Man” and “ Don’t Forget Me.” Also, he feels that participating in drama OSTs are more important than participating in actual dramas at the moment.”

(Repetition from previous article omitted)

Kim Junsu recently completed his “Mozart!” performances and is having a period of rest, and the three members of JYJ are currently working hard in preparation for their new album.
