[TRANS] 110727 Kim Jaejoong - "Hyun Joong & I Went Out For A Drink & Discussed Releasing An Album Together"

Kim Jaejoong recently accepted an interview from Seoul News NTN, exposing some fun stories about his close friendship with fellow-celebrity Kim Hyun Joong.

Referring to his directing experience for JYJ's worldwide tour, when asked by the reporter "If you could direct another singer's concert, who would it be?" he hesitated for a long time before the reporter asked, "What about Kim Hyun Joong?" Jaejoong replied, "He would probably do it himself. Although I don't know if he would personally direct, the day should come."

"During the spring, I went out for a drink with Hyun Joong and asked when we would release an album together sometime in the future. Honestly, we've talked about it before, and because of this very reason, Hyun Joong wanted to join my company since he wasn't under one. But, we still keep on talking about it (laughs).

Despite that, Kim Jaejoong also revealed, "It would be pretty interesting to work with him. I want to hold a concert not for profit, but just for the fans. I could take on the responsibility of directing then!"

Other than Kim Hyun Joong, there have also been previous reports of him taking photos with soccer player Jung Dae Se, actors Song Joong Ki, Lim Joo Hwan, Park Ji Bin, and Japanese celebrities like Ayumi Hamasaki, Yamashita Tomohisa, and Yu Shirota, earning him the title "Entertainment Industry's Big Feet" (T/N: Korean saying describing people with a wide circle of contacts).

When talking about this topic, Jaejoong waved his hands and said, "I'm really not a Big Feet! Although I have contacts with Korean and Japanese celebrities, it's not that many. I really don't have a lot. It's just because those friends are more known. My friends mostly have interests in fashion, dancing, and acting. If people can get along, doesn't it mean that they have similar viewpoints and values? I like to hang out with those types of people."

In addition, Kim Jaejoong will be debuting with his first Korean acting challenge on August 3 with the premiere of SBS drama 'Protect the Boss' in which he plays the role Cha Mu Won, the 'Financial Prince'.
