Fans of JYJ (Park Yoochun, Kim Junsu, Kim Jaejoong) have published an advertisement in a daily newspaper, requesting for their TV appearances.
The fans explained the reason for publishing the advertisement and said, "JYJ have been blocked from making appearances on most entertainment and music programmes and even just this injustice alone is a good reason."
After withdrawing from SM Entertainment, JYJ are currently in a lawsuit with SM. Broadcasting companies are using this as a reason for their stance on not allowing JYJ on their programmes. However, JYJ's side claims that the broadcasting companies' unfair refusal to allow JYJ on programmes is due to SM's influence.
In fact, JYJ have not been able to make normal broadcast appearances on not only the 3 broadcasting companies, but even on cable music programmes as well.
On the other hand, JYJ filed to nullify their exclusive contracts with SM Entertainment based on "unfair contract clauses" and it is still ongoing. However, through two court injunctions that took place in October 2009 and February 2011, the courts guaranteed that before the final judgement for the lawsuit is made, the three members of JYJ are able to freely pursue their activities as entertainers without interference from SM.
