A ‘JYJ only’ counter has appeared yet again.
JYJ’s first Korean album ‘In heaven’ was released online on the 15th and was recently released offline on the 27th.
Hitting over 300,000 pre-orders, the album was met with an explosive response even before its release. Synnara Records further proved this immense popularity as they stated, ‘Due to the sudden influx of people entering our site, we have prepared a temporary page for buying JYJ’s new album’.
This isn’t the only thing that has happened though. A photo of a counter solely reserved for JYJ at an offline music store garnered much attention as soon as it was posted on an online community. At Kyobobook’s Hottracks, there is a counter with the words ‘JYJ Counter’ on it and the CDs can be seen stacked in boxes, ready to be bought.
The fact that there was a counter, as well as a CD display shelf, reserved for JYJ when the group released their first worldwide album ‘The Beginning’ last year is also becoming a hot topic.
Netizens who saw the photos said, “They’ve been deemed unpopular, but they have their own counter”, “Only those with that much power can have those things!”, “This is only the beginning, JYJ hwaiting!“, “I feel so proud. Let’s go buy our CDs”, and “Of course, it’s JYJ! JYJ are the kings these days!”

T/N: For those of you who don’t get the ‘unpopular’ reference, KBS stated that they had replaced JYJ with Girls’ Generation and f(x) during the Jeju debacle because JYJ were ‘not well known by the public’ and ‘unpopular’.
