As a response to the official statement released by CJES Entertainment, via their website, dated 28th March 2011, with regards to the cancellation of JYJ’s concert in Indonesia that was to be held at Sentul International Convention Center (SICC) on 9th April 2011, we, as the promoter, with a heavy heart, hereby announce that the JYJ concert in Indonesia is officially cancelled due to the decision made by CJES Entertainment via their website.
As a promoter, we have put in our efforts to prepare as best as we can during this 1 month or so. We have worked hard to fulfil all the needs for this concert such as booking the best and most exclusive venue. However, in the last few days leading up to the concert, CJES Entertainment has made the final decision to cancel the concert that we have been planning. This is due to the sudden requests placed upon us, which we were not able to fulfill due to production problems. Our production team has confirmed this. Moreover, there were also additional costs that were requested by CJES Entertainment. It was too high a figure and this request was not stated in the original contract that was signed earlier on. For that, we as the promoter, have the right to reject this request.
Other than the production problems, the preparation and management of this concert went well initially. The negotiation with CJES Entertainment went smoothly and there was not one request that was too demanding.
We would like to sincerely apologise to all the fans of JYJ in Indonesia who have been waiting for this concert. Due to the breakdown in production of the concert and tight time constraint, we have no choice but to heed to the decision made by CJES Entertainment earlier on that stated the cancellation of the concert in Indonesia.
For ticket buyers who have already made their payment, we will be refunding the payment. The procedures for the refunding process will be announced on Thursday, 31st March 2011.
