Ji Sung and Kim Jaejoong of SBS drama series “Protect The Boss” forked out money to pay meals for the crew, as a way of bringing the crew closer to one another.
Ji Sung, who acted as the character “Cha Ji Heon”, had provided 100 shares of food for the crew during filming. “Protect The Boss” had hit 18.7% viewership ratings according to AGB Seoul on 11 August, clinching first place in viewership of dramas, hence Ji Sung had suggested this treat as a token of memory.
Afterwhich, Kim Jaejoong, who acted as “Cha Mu Won”, provided 100 shares of Ginseng chicken soup when the crew had filming in Seongbuk-dong on 13 August. One of the staff proudly expressed, “From how the actors would treat the filming crew out of their own pockets, one could feel our strong united team spirit, and in the future, we will produce the best drama series with such a good spirit.”
