[TRANS]110320 Japanese Fans Of Tohoshinki’s Yunho Donate 70 Million Won To Earthquake Relief

In support of victims of the Earthquake in Japan on 11 March, Japanese fans of Tohoshinki’s Yunho have taken direct action.

For the damage recovery efforts from the big earthquake in Japan, 5 million yen (approx. 70 million Won) was donated under the name of ONE fanclub, for the disaster areas affected by the earthquake. The touching part of this was that, “We were deeply touched by the way that Yunho constantly participates in volunteer activities, and we Japanese fans wanted to inherit his spirit,” they said, showing that the fans’ hearts have been moved by Yunho’s constant charitable efforts.

On another note, ONE had also donated 10 million won to the Gwangju Community Chest in celebration of Yunho’s recent birthday. This donation was sent to both social welfare facilities in the Gwangju region. With these two successive donations, even the Korean fans were touched by their actions.

[TRANS] 110319 TVXQ Make Their Comeback With Repackaged Album

On the 18 March broadcast of KBS2TV’s Music program “Music Bank,” TVXQ revealed the title track of the repackaged “Why (Keep Your Head Down)” Album, “Before you go.”
That day, TVXQ, with their R&B style track showed a 180 degree change in charm, hitting the high notes perfectly in the performance for “Before you go.” Following that, the soft yet crisp, polished choreography too, caught the eyes of the audience.

After watching the performance, viewers said “We saw a more sophisticated stage today. TVXQ Fighting,” and “I think the key point was the moderate choreography,” and “TVXQ is really cool,” showing an enthusiastic response.

On another note, on 19 March, TVXQ is scheduled to perform their second comeback stage on MBC’s “Music Core,” which had deemed part of the “Before You Go” lyrics inappropriate, after making the required corrections, and are expected to change the line “Stupid fool” to “Foolish me.”

(T/N: The lyric corrections were written in Japanese and therefore may not be the same as the actual Korean lyric.)

[TRANS]110318 TVXQ’s New Song Deemed Inappropriate For Broadcast On MBC?

TVXQ has amended part of the lyrics for the title track of their repackaged album “Before You Go.”

On 16 March, “Before You Go” was released with the repacked version of “Why(Keep Your Head Down).” However, TVXQ had to amend the lyrics specifically for the MBC performances only. For the portion of the lyrics that said “The stupid fool that couldn’t even protect you,” “Stupid Fool” was amended to “Foolish me.”

With regards to this, a representative from SM Entertainment said “Because MBC felt that the words “Stupid Fool” were inappropriate for broadcast, we have amended the lyrics to “Foolish me” instead,” and “KBS and SBS have no problems, so we plan to perform the original song,” they revealed.

An MBC representative explained that, “The broadcast standards prohibit the use of vulgar language, and the “Stupid fool” portion of “Before you go” contains a vulgar expression, so we deemed it unsuitable for broadcast.”

Even though the repackaged album was not out yet, “Before you go”, as expected, climbed to the top of the real time weekly sales chart “Hunter Chart,” which is calculated based on CD sales, showing the popularity of TVXQ.

(T/N: The lyric corrections were written in Japanese and therefore may not be the same as the actual Korean lyric.)

[TRANS]110320 Jaejoong : “There May Be Drawbacks From Tattoos, But…” A Confession Of Belief

With regards to the numerous tattoos on his body, Jaejoong showed an honest state of mind.

In the ELLE TV "Move Still : With Jaejoong” broadcast on 18 March, when asked “Do you have a lot of tattoos?”, Jaejoong asked, “Is that a bad thing?”

Jaejoong replied, “Honestly, there are many drawbacks to having tattoos, and there are times where they affect my acting and performance activities, but I do not regret getting them.”

He continued, “ So far, what I have tattooed on my body are things in my life that I do not wish to forget, things that console me, and things that I am thankful for. The “Always Keep The Faith” tattoo in front is the belief that I have always stood by.”

“Even though I can’t see the tattoos on my back, but when I do manage to see them, I recall (their significance) and after thinking about it, I realize that there are things to be thankful for, and this is their purpose. I actually feel like I don’t have tattoos on my body, so I’m really curious about how the photographs will turn out.” He said, expressing his curiosity towards his own tattoos.

To this, the viewers have had various reactions, such as “I still feel touched when I see the TVFXQ tattoo”, “Jaejoong, don’t get any more tattoos..” “The meaning of the tattoos are right, and he is so cool,” and other comments.
