[TRANS] 110110 Top Selling Artists, Yet They're Not On Music Shows?

The idol goup JYJ was formed after members of TVXQ Kim Junsu, Kim Jaejoong and Park Yoochun left SM Entertainment. Although they released their first album in October last year, they have not participated in any music or variety shows. Despite topping various music charts with their astonishing sales of 35,000 albums, they have not had any opportunity to participate in music programmes and have only participated in recording on non-music programmes so far.

As an actor, Park Yoochun participated in the Korean drama , as well as on the 30th, on the 31st, as well as on 1st January; all of which are non-music programmes.

Are the broadcasting companies afraid of the larger corporations? Popular group JYJ, who has a contract dispute with SM Entertainment (henceforth SM), has yet to appear on a music show and the continuation of this unusual situation has raised interest. JYJ, despite doing well in many music ranking charts, is unable to make an appearance in any of the music shows by the 3 major broadcasting stations. The recording that they did with on the 27th (December) was also supposed to air on the 5th, but it has been continuously postponed until now. The question on whether the broadcasting companies are under pressure from large corporations has grown exponentially.

The SBS production team expressed, "Changes in broadcast schedules for pre-recorded material are a common occurrence and JYJ's have been delayed. The content that they recorded will be broadcasted between 19-20 January."

Mr Park, a representative from JYJ's management agency C-Jes said, "None of the variety shows contacted us and even if they did, we were unable to get it confirmed in the end. This is why we have no more expectations now."

[TRANS] 110113 JYJ - PR Ambassadors For "FLL KOREA" (Press Conference)

On the morning of the 13th, the 3-member unit JYJ from the group TVXQ (Jaejoong, Yoochun, Junsu) attended the [FLL KOREA PR Ambassadors Investiture] held at Grand Hilton Seoul Hotel.

[FLL] is a robot competition organized by the first American foundation to encourage the study of it. It will be held at KINTEX on the 29th of this month with more than 17,000 participating teams from 60 different countries.

On why JYJ was chosen as ambassadors, the organizing committee for this contest commented, "It was decided that JYJ's passion and team work is in sync with the spirit of the convention. Also, even in the US, the interest (in JYJ) is rising."

[TRANS] 110112 SME Artists Gather To Support TVXQ Proving They're "No Different From Family"

SM Town artists gathered together in order to show their support for TVXQ's comeback.

On the 12th, photos of TVXQ, taken between the 7-9 Jan at the various music shows they attended, were uploaded on their official website.

In the photos, U-know Yunho and Choikang Changmin's confident expressions as they faced the camera made it difficult for one to sense any sort of nervousness from them. At the same time, they also released a picture that showed all the food that the fans prepared, displayed in the waiting room.

Pictures of a mini-fanmeeting held on the 8th after "Show! Music Core" ended was also released and although the fan meeting only had a simple stage, the faces of the fans, who waited so long for TVXQ's return, were filled with joy.

At the same same, a whole series of pictures of SM Town artists, who were there to support TVXQ's comeback, was released, including BoA, Kim Heechul, Lee Yeonhee, SHINee and TRAX's Jungmo. (t/n: It was actually Jay from TRAX, not Jungmo) The warm atmosphere and smiles in the pictures shows their close relationships.

Also, the normal version of TVXQ's new album was released on the 12th.
