Jaejoong Is The Most Sought-After
Idol Amongst Drama Producers...
He's "Currently Considering His Options"
'First Micky Yoochun, now YoungWoong Jaejoong!'
Group JYJ's YoungWoong Jaejoong is currently the most sought-after idol star for dramas and many are wondering if this means he will debut into the domestic drama scene any time soon.
Beating all the idol stars currently active, YoungWoong Jaejoong is the most sought-after idol amongst drama producers and has been receiving numerous love calls. Though there are many idols who have gone into acting, a rumor is circulating within the industry that YoungWoong Jaejoong is an actor who 'will bring great success if you catch him'.
A representative in the drama production field stated, "'Sunao Ni Narenakute', the Japanese drama YoungWoong Jaejoong appeared in, attracted quite a large amount of popularity in Japan," and "As it is now important for drama producers to take the Japanese market into consideration, YoungWoong Jaejoong has become the most sought-after star in the domestic drama industry."
Also, the fact that YoungWoong Jaejoong has been highly praised for his acting, which is more stable compared to that of other idols who have been swept up in controversies over their lack of acting abilities, in the movie 'Postman to Heaven' and the Japanese drama 'Sunao Ni Narenakute' is an added bonus.
Regarding this, YoungWoong Jaejoong's representative stated, "It is true that he has been receiving many offers to appear in Korean dramas. He is indeed planning to appear in a domestic drama. However, nothing has been set in stone yet, and he is currently considering when and what production he wishes to appear in."
If YoungWoong Jaejoong is successfully cast in a drama, it will become an issue hotter than member Micky Yoochun's decision to appear in the KBS drama 'SungKyunKwan Scandal' as this will be his domestic drama debut.
