Donated 1000 Million Won to a Child Injured in a Fire

JYJ/Dong Bang Shin Ki’s member Park YooChun (Micky YooChun)’s fan club formed by ahjumma fans, known as 'Blessing YooChun', warmly expressed their thoughts.

On the 9th of November, the members donated 1000 million won (approximately USD$ 8700) to Park Hyun Bin (12 years old) for his treatment fees through the Department of Social Welfare Foundation. Due to financial difficulties, they had been postponing the treatment for his scoliosis disorder, which means Park Hyun Bin's condition became even more dangerous. Hence, they decided to start donation activities to assist in collecting his treatment fees.

On the 10th of November, they donated the 1000 million won to Park Hyun Bin, to be used as his burn injuries treatment fees at Hallym University and SeongSim Hospital. On the same day, the members also donated some clothing suitable for the winter season, not forgetting to include some encouraging words as well.

The person in charge of the Department of Social Welfare Foundation expressed that, "Long-term patients who are injured from burns have to go through skin grafting surgery every year until they have become adults. Patients not only have to go through physical pain, but also the pressure from one's family financial capability. To be receiving such a help, is a gift filled with hope for those patients." He also added, "I express my gratitude towards the Park YooChun fan club's good deeds. I hope that their actions will allow the public to pay more attention towards patients who are injured in a fire."

The administrator for 'Blessing YooChun' said, "As we are a fan club created for fans of ages 30 and above, we are able to attract even more attention from the public. We are not just someone who only loves and supports their idols, but we also participate in charity activities under Park YooChun's name, letting the blissful love expand." She also added, "We have also discussed with our fellow members, and we plan to participate in more meaningful activities such as voluntary work. There will be quite a number of members participating."
