Korea's top stars are getting together for the Hallyu Wave.
Singers such as TVXQ, BEAST and 2AM will hold a large-scale charity concert at the Saitama Super Arena in Tokyo, Japan on May 14th titled 'Tokyo Legend 2011-Korean Music Wave Live in Tokyo'.
This concert is one hosted by both Korea and Japan to commemorate MBC's 50th year and will be a project prepared by MBC's 'Show! Music Core', FujiTV and AVEX.
The event is meaningful as it brings together two major broadcasting companies in Korea and Japan to help those in need.
The total profits from the concert will be donated to the GFSC (Good Friends Save the Children) that will use the money to fund education for children suffering from poverty all over Asia.
This concert will be split across two days and stars who have already confirmed their appearance are TVXQ, BEAST, 2AM, f(x), SHINee, MBLAQ, 4Minute, SG Wannabe, Miss A and Secret. The second round of singers will be released on March 16th.
'Tokyo Legend 2011' aroused much anticipation when they stated on their website that, "It will be the best performance anyone has seen till now with its mix of Korea's broadcasting production system and Japan's concert production knowhow. We hope the children of Asia will share the joy of music given to them by Hallyu's best stars."
