Park Yoochun and Park Yoohwan are known to share a brotherly love unlike any other. With five years between them, they call each other their 'treasure'.
Newcomer actor Park Yoohwan, brother of JYJ's Park Yoochun, recently met with TV Report and said, "When I was little, I used to think that all siblings were as close as my brother and I were."
Park Yoohwan reminisced as he said, "I think we're so close because we spent a lot of time together in the US. At school, I didn't get along that well with the kids my age. So I ended up spending a lot of time with my brother." He continued to confess, "Then my brother returned to Korea to debut as a singer. At first, I was happy because I could have our room all to myself, but after a week, I was sad that my brother wasn't coming back."
He said, "When we were apart, we used to call each other a lot. I don't usually cry in front of my parents or my friends, but I cry a lot when I'm talking to or with my brother. He said that even he used to cry after talking to me on the phone."
They couldn't be any closer than they are now. Park Yoohwan's eyes teared up as he said, "Whenever my brother cried on TV, I cried with him. Even now, I feel like crying when I think about my brother."
Though he is still the younger brother who seeks comfort from his older brother after he's had a nightmare, Park Yoohwan has found himself a calling. He too has jumped into the perilous world of the entertainment industry.
Park Yoochun, who was surely plagued by worries for his younger brother, strengthened Park Yoohwan with his support and well-wishes. He is proud of his younger brother for taking his first step towards achieving his dream. This reporter can almost see Park Yoochun in front of his eyes, waiting for the day when his brother Park Yoohwan is recognized for his acting.
