Yunho: "Jaejoong, Junsu, and Yoochun are very powerful in terms of potential. The hardest part about being a two-member group TVXQ is that we have to full in that gap. But, we are still very glad that after 2 years and 3 months, our fans have always waited for us."
Yunho's worry: Hopefully the number of their male fans will increase (He wants to know how to do that). Kang Ho Dong asked how many there were, and Yunho said about 3.25% of their total fan count. Changmin said, "Because it's harder for men to look at men and think that they're handsome. If we can earn the recognition of male fans, then that's true charisma."
Yunho went against his parents wishes in middle school and participated in a competition. The first round was singing, and the second round, dancing. He was accepted and traveled to Seoul alone with a backpack. After he officially entered SM, he found there to be around 100 trainees just like himself!
"When I first went to a Seoul sauna, the 13 000 Won price scared me! Gwangju only had the level of around 3500 Won. That's why I went around finding jobs." Ho Dong asked Changmin if he's ever worked before, to which Changmin replied "no."
When they first debuted in Japan, they went on 3-4AM television shows. Changmin said that no one would watch those programs! Following their expansion into the Japanese market and their increasing popularity, their tiny, confined dorms gradually turned into bigger dorms until the point where each member had a room to himself in a luxury hotel.
Changmin: "After the situation erupted, I felt that it was the end." It greatly impacted him, but what killed him the most was hearing the fans talking about betrayal. His parents, family, and friends were all equally hurt just as much as he was. After their last stage on Japan's prestigious NHK live broadcast, Changmin only held onto the mindset that he had to sing and perform well on his favorite stage.
After Changmin was discovered by an SM recruiter, he told his mother, to which she encouraged him to do it. His official contract signing was completed at a rapid pace, while Yunho, on the other hand, had been a trainee for a year before he signed his. After Changmin joined SM, many people didn't regard him in a friendly manner. Even Yunho, who went through so many obstacles, told Changmin in a bitter fashion that if he couldn't continue, he might as well just give up and leave. Yunho said that just by listening to a person's tone, you could tell whether or not his determination was firm or not.
Ho Dong: "Are you more popular or is Seungri more popular in Gwangju?" Yunho: "...I am, but he was more popular on his dance team before we debuted!"
