At the Busan performances of JYJ’s World Tour, shaking up the city for two days, JYJ’s Japanese fans donated a total of 1.7 tons of rice to commemorate the concert.
Nam Taek Woo of Dreame’s Busan branch stated, “The Dreame congratulatory rice stands that were delivered to the Busan Sajik Indoor Gymnasium were donated by about 1,000 fans from one domestic fansite and six Japanaese fansites.”
On one 500kg Dreame congratulatory rice stand, the names of 488 fans who donated money were written and these fans were seen taking pictures with the stands to remember their participation in the donation drive.
The concert organizer, along with JYJ, is planning to donate the 1.73 tons of Dreame rice to those in need in the Busan region.
Busan benefited well from the ‘JYJ effect’ as over 3,500 Japanese fans visited the city, causing most of Busan’s hotels to be fully booked.
At the concert, JYJ gave a unique performance with Park Yoochun singing ‘I Love You’, Kim Junsu singing ‘I Can Soar’ and Kim Jaejoong singing ‘Still in Love’.
