JYJ’s Kim Jaejoong will be appearing in his first Korean drama.
According to broadcasting representatives, Kim Jaejoong will be appearing in ‘The Last Female Secretary’, the follow-up drama of SBS’ ‘City Hunter’.
Kim Jaejoong will be playing the role of Cha Moo Heon, a chic and charming man in his 30s. As a gentle and competent ‘prince’ of the financial world, he is able to read other’s emotions well and gets along with everyone. He will be the cousin of the other main character Ji Heon and form a love triangle with him and a female lead.
Kim Jaejoong appeared in the 2009 drama ‘Heaven’s Postman’ but this will be the first time that appears in a domestic drama.
Staring his new status as an acting idol, Kim Jaejoong was already chosen as the Best Male Supporting Role for ‘Sunao Ni Narenakute’ at ‘The 14th Nikkan Sports Drama Grand Prix’ last year.
JYJ’s Park Yoochun has already become an upcoming and established actor through ‘SungKyunKwan Scandal’ and ‘Miss Ripley’ while Kim Junsu has earned the title of a hot star in the musical industry with the musical ‘Mozart!’. Kim Jaejoong will now be starting his career as an actor in the domestic drama industry with an active gusto.
The production company stated, “Though it is very possible that he will appear in the drama, it is not confirmed.”
‘The Last Female Secretary’ is a romantic comedy of the female lead who finally gets a job as a secretary in a large firm after suffering from unemployment and falls in love with her boss.
It will air in August. Choi Kang Hee and Lee Hui Jin are confirmed to appear in the drama while Jisung is a strong candidate for one of the other roles.
