JYJ’s Kim Jaejoong will be appearing in his first domestic drama.
According to his agency, Jaejoong is confirmed to be appearing in SBS’ new Wednesday-Thursday drama ‘Protect The Boss’, which will begin airing on August 3rd after ‘City Hunter’.
Kim Jaejoong will be playing the role of Cha Moo Won, the talented ‘prince of the financial world’, and will be working alongside Jisung, Choi Kang Hee and Wang Ji Hae.
The CEO of his agency stated, “Kim Jaejoong has been confirmed to appear on ‘Protect The Boss’,” and “With the experience of winning the Best Male Supporting Role Award at the 2010 Nikkan Sports Drama Grand Prix with Fuji TV’s ‘Sunao Ni Narenakute’, Jaejoong will greet the viewers with great acting.”
Kim Jaejoong will be greeting domestic drama viewers for the first time through this drama. Kim Jaejoong appeared in the popular Fuji TV drama ‘Sunao Ni Narenakute’ last year and was praised for his acting as he worked alongside famous Japanese stars such as Ueno Juri and Eita.
Through the agency, Kim Jaejoong stated, “I’m happy to have met great actors and staff and I think it will be a fun and entertaining drama. I’m planning to being preparing for the drama once the world tour encore concert is over.”
JYJ successfully completed their ’2011 JYJ WORLD TOUR CONCERT’ and have decided to repay their fans’ support by holding an encore concert on the 26th at the Yeom Joo Gymnasium in Gwangju.
