Ji Sung, Choi Kang Hee, Kim Jaejoong and Wang Ji Hae, a charming ‘super strong dream team’, have had their first meeting together.
The four leading roles with Park Young Gyu, Cha Hwa Yeon and Kim Chung of SBS’ new Wednesday-Thursday drama ‘Protect the Boss’, which will begin airing on August 3rd after ‘City Hunter’, met to have their first script run through.
On the 29th in the SBS Ilsan Production Center’s drama rehearsal room, the script run through occurred with a bright and cheerful atmosphere. Though it was the first time that the actors had all gotten together, the active approach that all the energetic actors took ensured that the run through was completed with everyone in a great mood.
Ji Sung, who will be making a drastic image change by acting as Cha Ji Hun, the childish son of a conglomerate, appeared with a unique hairstyle that reminded everyone of Slam Dunk’s Song Tae Seop.
Choi Kang Hee had long hair and bangs instead of the sophisticated bob she is normally associated with.
Kim Jaejoong, who will be stepping into the domestic drama industry for the first time through this drama, took off to a refreshing start as he seemed relaxed and in his element throughout the run through. Taking on the role of ‘the prince of the financial world’ Cha Mu Won, Kim Jaejoong will be the perfect man who still bickers comically with his cousin Cha Ji Hun.
Wang Ji Hae was bright and cheerful throughout the run through. Veterans Park Young Gyu, Cha Hwa Yeon and Kim Chung’s shone with their acting skills.
The production company stated, “Because of the interesting and fun script of ‘Protect the Boss’, a refreshing and funny romantic comedy, everyone was laughing throughout the filming of the drama. The staff and cast are equally excited for what is to come. Please anticipate and support ‘Protect the Boss’, which will bring laughter to its viewers.”
