Q. What kind of role do you play in the drama?
He’s in not similar to me at all, the role is a chaebol, a flawless man who is a gentleman with a warm personality.
Q. The members of the cast are great, but what about the atmosphere of the filming set?
We’re like family. We’ve only met during the first filming, but it felt like we’ve known each other for more than 10 years. It was that warm between us.
Q. How long have you been preparing for acting?
I first started acting in Japan, two years ago. Even now I’m lacking in knowledge about acting and I depend on my seniors, while working hard to practice.
Q. Please say a word to the fans of the talented Jaejoong-kun!
It’s been a while since I appeared on radio but, Wednesdays and Thursdays, is the timing of the drama, ‘Protect the Boss’…
Q. What is the plot?
It’s a cheerful, fresh and fun love-comedy. Because it’s the summer, I think our drama will give laughter to everyone, so please watch it and have fun.
Q. What about JYJ’s activities from now on?
Right now we are preparing for the album. We haven’t decided on the release date yet but, I believe that we will be able to meet everyone through wonderful music again.
Q. Not only do you carry your activities a singer, but for the world tour you took on the challenge of directing but did it create a difference?
A singer stands on stage and gives that place, that was created by someone else, his power and energy but I had to create the stage, always bring new ideas and always make sure that the members who are dancing and singing can be seen from the guest seats. But then I had to stand on that stage as well… It was a mysterious feeling.
Q. Do you have a dream for the future where you will continue directing?
For that reason as well, I challenged myself… I think it’s a very interesting and charming occupation.
Q. Up until now, what is the scene that you remember most clearly from the filming?
I’ve had a lot of NGs (Talking about the presentation scene) because there were many terms that we rarely use in daily life, they were the hardest lines. Because they were hard I memorized them but the pronunciation… during the filming I fumbled the words and created many NGs. Senior Park Yung Yo (not sure of the spelling) and senior Jis Sung both encouraged me saying you are the best, it’ll be ok… I was sweating so badly ~laugh~ acting is difficult… It is my first domestic appearance after all..
Q. Are you involved in composing too?
I’ve been studying (composition) since before debut, and the first time
I produced a song was 3 years ago.
