Kim Junsu's SBS 'Scent of Women Part 2 OST - You Are So Beautiful" was released on online sites on August 5, all of which received overwhelmingly great results, topping Daum, Naver, Bugs, Cyworld, and Dosirak charts as #1. Making a surprise cameo appearance in the drama as a worldwide celebrity, Kim Junsu's simultaneous participation in the OST has been garnering plenty of attention too.
In June, JYJ member Park Yoochun also sang the OST "This Empty Space For You" for MBC drama "Miss Ripley", which also topped charts. In addition, last year, Park Yoochun received the "Best Newcomer Award" for his drama "SunKyunKwan Scandal", of which JYJ sang the OST "Chajatta", securing their popularity with overwhelming results on music charts.
Now, Kim Jaejoong is acting in SBS drama "Protect the Boss" as the character Cha Mu Won where he will also sing the main drama OST. The television production team expressed, "JYJ's emotional singing immerses into the feelings of the drama, so it serves as a big advantage. Also, if the actor himself participates in the singing of the OST, it would affect the drama on the whole in a positive way. It's hard to see JYJ in music programs, so it's a pity they can't receive the popularity they have through OST's, but every time a song is released there is an explosive response which greatly benefits the drama. From the viewpoint of a producer, they are our lucky wildcards."
