On the latest recording of SBS‘s ‘Protect the Boss‘, Jaejoong and Wang Ji Hye battled it out at a noraebang, and contrary to popular belief, it was Wang Ji Hye who grabbed the spotlight with her singing.
In this episode, the two characters revealed their favorite songs to sing. Wang Ji Hye was the first to grab the mic, and proceeded to sing her heart out to the song, “Don’t Forget” by Baek Ji Young. She also sang the song, “I’m Okay” by Jinju, all while vigorously shaking the tambourine and showing off her hilarious ‘sing-shout’ style.
Actor Ji Sung, who plays the part of ‘Ji Hun’ in the drama, said, “If Wang Ji Hye’s singing cut was to go on air, it would garner a lot attention and the viewer ratings would go up.“ Jaejoong also complimented her as well, saying, “Ji Hye’s comical singing is too much.” Throwing up a thumbs-up sign, he continued, “There’s a lot of people who ask about Ji Hye. She has a cold face, but people say that in the drama, she comes out cute. Some people ask about her real personality and some actually ask me to introduce them to her.”
You can catch Wang Ji Hye and Jaejoong’s singing competition on the upcoming episode of ‘Protect the Boss’, scheduled to air on September 8th.
