In early September, JYJ announced that they would hold concerts in Spain and Germany, countries never before visited by K-Pop artists. With tickets recently going on sale, the group has received a warm response: Only 20% of tickets to the Barcelona concert remained after three days, and German fans crashed the server of the ticketing website as soon as tickets for JYJ's Berlin concert went on sale.
The high demand for tickets shocked both JYJ and concert organizers. A representative said, "Since this event is not even a project concert of a giant entertainment company, but a solo concert, this situation is that much more startling. I realized, again, the great popularity of K-Pop in Europe as well as the high popularity of JYJ.”
The group also commented on the situation. “Since this is our first European tour, there were some scary things, but we thank everyone for their interest and we will prepare a great concert [for them]," they said. JYJ continued with, "The Spanish ambassador in Korea thanked us for performing in Spain and gave us encouragement. Upon hearing that the ticket sales are flourishing like this, we’re full of excitement for the concerts we’ll hold with the European fans.”
