KBS2TV 'SungKyunKwan Scandal' finished broadcasting last year, but has received the 'Best Drama Award Of The Month'.
The Television Broadcast Review Committee held their 'Best Drama Award Of The Month' ceremony on January 25 at the Seoul Mokdong Broadcasting Hall for November 2010.
Aired last November, the award-winning drama is set in the Joseon period and revolves around the life of a woman entering into the forbidden world of SungKyunKwan, creating the Jalgeum Quartet as fans have fondly come to love.
With regards to the winning choice, the head of the committee stated, "There were fresh material and alive characters that successfully portrayed the frustrations of being in a traditionally obsolete era of conflicting viewpoints. This is a youthful journal that makes you cry yet smile at the love and friendship."

Following Park Yoochun and his popular drama 'SungKyunKwan Scandal', Kim Jaejoong will enter into the filming of a Korean television drama, as announced during their MBN interview on the day of Kim Jaejoong's very own 26th birthday.
JYJ's management company CJES Entertainment expressed, "Although the name of the drama cannot be revealed at this time, it has been confirmed that he will participate in the filming of a drama."
Last year, Kim Jaejoong took on a Japanese drama 'Sunao Ni Narenakute', accumulating a certain degree of experience. Being an immensely popular singer in both Korea and Japan, Kim Jaejoong's appearance in a television drama will hold a definite amount of commercial value.

His role-playing in 'SungKyunKwan Scandal' as Lee Seon Jun could be considered as a perfect transition. It being a historical drama, (he) originally had expected to experience some difficulties, for example the difficulties of playing the handsome Lee Seon Jun who has a different feel from him but since (he) has already chosen it, (he) hoped to receive comments on his acting through the drama.
Kim JunSu has also challenged musicals yet again.
Through 'Mozart!’ he had no regrets showing off his singing prowess and strong acting skills. On the day of the launch of the ticket sales, all the seats had been sold out, showing a side of his ticketing power. Even the tickets for the musical 'Tears of Heaven' that he is participating in which will commence on February 1st were sold out in just five minutes after the ticket sales started, receiving hot responses from the public.
The high parts in 'Mozart!' cannot be easily done by most musical actors but he had transitioned into 'Mozart!' well.
With 'Mozart!' being a success, it has been implied that
'Tears of Heaven' would also be just as successful.

Eric-Yunho drama “Poseidon” will air
in May of next year on SBS
Singer and actor Eric’s released from military service and TVXQ member Yunho participation in the new drama “Poseidon” which is schedule to air the first half of next year have attracted a lot of attention.
An official from “Poseidon” production in the afternoon on December 28 on a phone interview stated, “A letter from SBS Network sent to production of drama “Poseidon” that will be scheduled to be airing in May of next year”. However, due to variable combined circumstances is not yet confirmed.
Currently airing on SBS are “Athena” which will be subsequent by drama “Midas”, therefore the drama “Poseidon ” is expected to be aired sometime in May of next year.
“Poseidon” is the first Coast Guard Marine drama. In this drama the hard work, the good spirit and sacrificed made by these commandos, Eric, Kim Kang Woo, Kim Wook Bin, Yunho, Kim Ga Yeong, Jeon Hye Bin, Kim Kab Su, So Hyeon Ju are also part of the cast.

TVXQ’s Yunho is not cast for “Poseidon” yet
After earlier reports of TVXQ’s Yunho being cast for drama “Poseidon,” representatives of SM Entertainment have clarified that there is “nothing decided as of yet.”
The National Maritime Police Agency previously uploaded videos of Yunho
However, on October 22nd, SM Entertainment stated, “He received a casting offer from ‘Poseidon’ and visited the scene to test it out and meet with the others. There is nothing definite regarding his casting.”
Actors often go through a meeting with the production team in order to find out more details about the drama and certain characters. Yunho participated in such a meeting but did not extend the discussion to a casting confirmation.
Yunho is currently broadening his acting experience by playing the role of Lee Shin in the musical rendition of “ Goong.”

UKnow YunHo - 100 Million Won for 'Haru'
According to the report from the Korea Tourism Board,
the big-scale tourism promotion drama 'HARU: An Unforgettable Day in Korea'
paid Dong Bang Shin Ki's UKnow YunHo and Big Bang 100 million won each,
and 50 million won for actress Lee DaHae. As for Kim Bum,
Han ChaeYoung and Park SiHoo, each received 40 million.
The total cost for casting is 370 million won and the whole production
is 5100 million won all in all.
