DJ: (Lol) Tomorrow, May 26, is finally the release of Xiah Junsu’s solo single. This time, the theme is ‘XIAH.’ The cover is also sexy, ah~
JS: Oh, I have put in effort for good shots.

DJ: What kind of image will be shown this time around?
JS: I want to show everyone that each stage has its own mood, and coupled with the feel of the lyrics, there’s a more relaxed sensation…

DJ: Today, May 25, Tuesday, live from FM YOKOHAMA STUDIO, our guest is Xiah Junsu. The song we just played was “Intoxication,” included in tomorrow’s new single release of “XIAH.” This song “Intoxication” was written by Junsu himself.
JS: Yes. I’m a bit shy to introduce it myself, but I composed and arranged this song on my own.

DJ: Recently you have been working on composing.
JS: Speaking of composing, I started working on composing and arranging three years ago, but I have become more and more fascinated with them recently.

DJ: Do you use your home computer to write?
JS: Yes.

DJ: Really, I was thinking, being so busy, how would there be time?
JS: I wrote “Intoxication” in a month during the time which I spent for a musical in Korea.

DJ: Ah, yes. Earlier this year, you starred in the musical “Mozart!” in Korea. You wrote this during that time, yes?
JS: Yes.

DJ: Ah~ During such a busy time, how should I say this, Junsu-kun is still so energetic, taking time out (to work on the song).
JS: I really didn't have the time to work on the song, but the feeling of wanting to work hard is very intense. Also, at that time, I already had the plan of releasing a solo song, so I had to exert a lot of effort.

DJ: Ah~ That’s really admirable. You’re so busy, how can you find the time to sleep?
JS: I still sleep quite a lot.

DJ: Really? How long do you sleep each day?
JS: Recently, about six hours or so; it’s not the same everyday. Sometimes on rest days, I will just sleep.

DJ: Ah, so rest days are for storing physical strength.
JS: Yes, so sleep is no problem.

DJ: Yes. Besides starring in musicals, there are still activities in Japan and Korea; in such busy times, do you have a special diet or training to strengthen yourself and conserve energy?
JS: I exercise well, I try to eat more, but the most important thing is I keep looking forward with a positive state of mind.
DJ: Amazing. Indeed, the mentality of a person is the most important. If the mind is depressed, it will be "suppressed into illness," according to a Japanese saying.

JS: Nothing can be done if you're sick, so I will work hard to make my life more cheery.
DJ: Ah~ Great~ As long as there’s enthusiasm, anything can be done successfully. The PV is really a mess of handsomeness. There are two versions, CD and CD+DVD, and it’s as if the songs included are different. First, we have the CD version, the first song being “Intoxication,” second song being “Kanashimi no Yukue” and the third song is the short version of “Kimi ga Ireba.” In the DVD version, the first song is also “Intoxication,” followed by the full version of “Kimi ga Ireba ” instead of the short version, and “Kanashimi no Yukue” is not listed. However, you can watch the DVD. Intoxication’s DVD is really gorgeous, and I heard it was shot in a church?

JS: It was shot in a museum. It has the same feel as of a temple, and I think that the style of the song fits it well.
DJ: The cover and the PV both really have a stylish and mature feel, and I think the good work reflects the charm of Junsu. It will be released on May 26, so everyone please take note. Oh, by the way, I heard that you recently went to Singapore.

JS: Yes, it was for my brother’s showcase. It was my first time going to Singapore.
DJ: Is it? Your brother Junho held a showcase in Singapore and you went to support him~

JS: Right. It was my first time going there, and I think it's very beautiful.
DJ: There should be a lot of fans in Singapore, right?
JS: Yes, because it was our first time going there, I was shocked. Receiving everyone's support, we feel very happy and thankful.

DJ: And you haven’t seen your brother for quite a while.
JS: Yes. I met up with my brother whom I haven’t seen for quite some time now, so I was very pleased and happy.

DJ: What did you and your brother talk about?
JS: We chatted about some musical-related things, some stuff about life (lol), and the events which have happened.

DJ: For example, Junsu, what do you think of Japan?
JS: Erm, we talked a lot.

DJ: Ah~ We would really like to hear the dialogue between you two~
JS: Oh, oh, it was very interesting.

DJ: Haha, your brother Junho is also working hard. Having said that, let’s challenge the next section: “Can You Draw It?”
In this palm-sized piece of paper, Junsu has to make a drawing. We'll have a person in charge to guess what he drew, and if his guess is correct, then tomorrow we'll also have an on-air time for you.
JS: I must draw it correctly.

JS: Ganbatte~

Really Like Junsu: Erm, it could be that, right?

DJ: Ah, ah, I was silently absorbed in the drawing. Tomorrow, the new single “XIAH” would be released. I think there are still more events. JS: I would keep on sleeping, do some composing, practicing, nothing special.
