This issue's featured star is JYJ who released their first album this month. JYJ is formed from the first letter of each of the member's names, and despite it not being as elegant as TVXQ, it still shows the determination of Kim JaeJoong, Park YooChun and Kim JunSu to create a new beginning. TVXQ was a part of their life, where they gained maturity and figured out their future goals. The trio, who are now excelling in different aspects of their careers, will definitely not give up easily on their group, JYJ.

JYJ's dispute with SM Entertainment has been going on for a long time but has yet to be settled, and it is hard for TVXQ to stay as five, but the artistes’ activities cannot stop because of this. In the first half of 2010, JYJ's activities were mostly focused in Japan, with JunSu releasing a solo single and JaeJoong acting in a Japanese drama. In June, JYJ also held their concerts in Tokyo and Osaka Dome. In the second half of the year, JYJ followed up with activities as singers. On October 12th, JYJ’s World Showcase in Seoul was held which generated a massive response, of which 30 million won was donated to a charity fund for children. They expressed that they have always been concerned about doing charity for children and after hearing the children’s plight, they decided to donate their concert profits out, and will continue to help more children in the future. On October 23rd, JYJ performed at the 2010 Shanghai East Asia Flying Up Concert, which was a concert for charity, and showed a charitable act.

JYJ Worldwide Concert in Seoul which will be held on November 27th and 28th is their first massive concert in Korea after the new unit was formed, to which there was an overwhelming fans’ response whereby tickets were sold out really fast. Although the concert is a little costly as compared to others, tens of thousands of tickets were still snapped up within a few minutes. Other than that, JYJ is also planning to hold their concert in China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Shanghai and America.

On October 14th, JYJ embarked in their new journey in the music world, which is exactly what their album title, , meant. This album, which is distributed worldwide had a renowned producer specially invited and a fortune was spent on promoting the album. Three title songs, 《Ayyy Girl》、《Be My Girl》、and《Empty》 are unique in their own ways and also perfectly showcases JYJ’s style. The American Billboard official site even published an article on JYJ to promote this album.

The American famous hip hop musician, Rodney Jerkins also participated in the production of "The Beginning" and had expressed interest to continue the collaboration with JYJ in the future. He said that he was very impressed with JYJ's professionalism and attitude. Rodney Jerkins is a great producer known all over the world and used to be the producer for Michael Jackson, Britney Spears, Janet Jackson, Beyonce and many other famous artists. This time, he composed《Empty》 and《Be My Girl》 for JYJ which were very well-liked after its release.

Other than Rodney Jerkins, American hip hop singer Kanye West also contributed to the production of this album, composing the songs 《Ayyy Girl》 and 《Be The One》. Before the official production, he was already amazed by the trio's acapella, freestyle rapping and singing. At the same time, he was also casted in Ayumi Hamasaki's music video for her new single "Blossom". With a series of activities in Japan, he has gained a large amount of support from Japanese females.

According to a Japan television programme early this year, Kim JaeJoong was voted as "The Most Wanted Lover", with YooChun and JunSu in the top 10 of the list.

While JaeJoong and YooChun are having a busy schedule, JunSu did not give up on his passion for music. Because of him, the tickets for the 16th Korea Musical DaeSang Award Ceremony, held on the October 18th, was sold out within 3 hours. The most surprising thing was that the current image of Kim JunSu is entirely different from his past images. Reporters often say that SME's artists are very difficult to approach to as they are always surrounded by their managers and the security. However, after leaving SM, JunSu's friendly and approachable attitude seen after the award ceremony when he was in the same resting room as many other musical actors, was very commendable. At the ceremony, JunSu received the Newcomers Award and the Popularity Award.

As of today, Kim JunSu has acted in 2 musicals including "Mozart!", and has also held a musical concert, managing his musical career impressively.
