Due to the casts’ schedule making an extension impossible, it has been decided that the drama will end at 16 episodes.
There was a rumour that MBC’s Monday-Tuesday drama “Miss Ripley” would be extended by 4 episodes, but currently, it is expected to end at 16 episodes.
On 6 July, “Miss Ripley” related personnel said, “Initially, due to the popularity of the drama, we discussed the possibility of adding another 4 episodes, but due to the casts’ schedule, it has been decided that there will not be any additional episodes, and end with the original 16 episodes.”
They also said, “Female lead Lee Da Hae has to carry out her schedule in China after this drama ends. And male lead Park Yoochun, due to his earlier JYJ Worldwide Concert schedule, is in poor physical condition. We communicated this opinion that the cast would be unable to carry out the extension to the broadcaster’s drama department.”
“Miss Ripley” talks about how Jang Miri, in her bid to succeed find herself trapped in a whirlpool of lies. Despite the slightly unrealistic and unbelievable manner in which the plot unfolds, the actors’ dedicated acting has made the drama very popular among female viewers.
